China is becoming a favorite exchange destination of Kansas City students. The Chinese country being one of the most continuous and oldest civilizations, the educators sees it very beneficial for their students to study in China. China has two administrative regions Hongkong and Macau.

Macau being a very progressive city has very beautiful sights for an exchange volunteer to enjoy. Faculty exchange programs though are hard to find due to the language prerequisite. Yet, student volunteers engaging in an exchange program are abundant.

Macao wanted to make a world of difference and that difference I believe is in tourism. The country known as the trading gate is a destination of traders even as far as Rome. It is the crossroads where the meeting of the west and east cultures.

Macao can be accessed through Hong Kong by so many transportations. Sky Shuttle is not an uncommon sight in this part of the world for it is their means of transportation from country to another. Aircrafts are also available. The Macau International Airport serves several destinations all over the world.

Macao accommodation varies from as hotel room and a guest house. Do not dare miss; Macau World heritage, Museums, Temples, fortresses, new sports, churches, gardens, outlying island, exhibition galleries and the beaches. Major events to look out for are Macau Arts Festival, Macau International Fireworks Display contest, Macau Open-golf Tournament, Macau Grand Pix, Dragon Boat Festival, Macau International Music Festival, Macau Food Festival, Macau international marathon.
