The main objective of the organization is to promote learning and leadership through the foreign exchange students.

Since 1980, the organization has already provides 40, 000 host families and students to make up a bridge of friendship internationally. On the other hand, if you want to become a host family of the AYUSA organization you will learn a lot of things from the AYUSA exchange students. And this is your opportunity as well to let them learn the American cultures as well as you learn their language and culture too. For host families, there is nothing to worry about the students you were about to host because AYUSA carefully selected the students that they will segregate in each of the family.

AYUSA students are evaluated through their grades, independence and intellectual maturity and through their leadership qualities. The organization is also selecting only those students who can afford to speak and write English. AYUSA required students ranging from the age of 15-18 years old from the 75 different countries. The organization will support also the host families from selecting the students through school registration. The cultural exchange program could give big impact not only to the host family but also to the involved student. The experience could be their stepping stone towards a brighter future.
